Experience : Before I enter typography class, I was expecting to be typing class. However, it was not what I expected. It was a totally different teaching matter. I actually learned a lot from this class. Although this subject was the majority of the work load but when I start to get used to it and understand the format, it was not difficult at all. In fact, when it comes to final project weeks, having the basics of typography it didn't took me long to complete it. I respect the people who publish books and newspaper, I never knew it was this difficult. There's a lot of hard work and effort behind every books and articles. It also requires mass of creativity to create different type of fonts, I love every each of the fonts that was made.

Observation : Words can tell a story, animation just adding some visual effects, most importantly is the word expression. Typography is all about expressing thoughts and also bringing messages to the audience. Color is also not a main focus in typography, we usually used minimal color options in it as it only adds visual effects whereas the word is the main focus. Typography focus on details and alignment, each spacing, tracking, kerning plays an important roll in paragraphs. It's very precise and have to be well structured in order to create a great work.
Findings : I found lots of type animations and GIF tasks in typography and also the use of colors options. Many things were standardized. Such as black and white RGB colors is usually used, the size in millimeter of the page is fixed. We don't use pixels as millimeters are more precise. Besides that, typography requires a lot of patience as it has plenty of details to work in. If the details were not done neatly, everything will result in a different matter. When you get used to the format, typography can be interesting and fun at the same time frustrating.
