Final Project
For our final project, each of the members must come out with one design of Boshu Uchiwa since this is our topic. Our members has different ideas such as designing on tote bags, calendar and more. I had the idea of placing Boshu Uchiwa on bookmark and stamp.

Since I have no idea of how to draw Boshu Uchiwa, I did some research online and found some images to trace from. The image in figure1.1 was the image I've chosen.

I used similar colors in my illustrations from the image I found online. I also apply shadows of the bamboo sticks behind the fan so that it looks realistic. I chose to draw the middle boshu uchiwa from the image is because that is my favorite design.

Figure 1.4 Sketches of Design |
I did some sketching and planning before I do the coloring part. This is to give a direction of where I am going so that I don't lose track. I label and wrote my name on it so that my group don't get confused with other member's designs.

Figure 1.5 Coloring |
This is my final design of stamp and bookmark after coloring. I like simple design so I use pastel colors and I didn't add on as I feel is not necessary. However, if my members feel to add on more I don't mind to work on it.

After that I decided to improve my design although my group members was satisfied. I was more happy with my updated design and my group members were loving it too!

Reflection
Through this research project journey, I've learned plenty. I learned how to work in a team and also be a team. When we are sharing our designs, our members show support and encouragements, also giving necessary feedback and our members would make changed that was needed. We discuss and share our opinion openly. Everyone has the rights to share ideas and point of view. The one thing I liked about my team is that we don't give pressure to our group members, but we would make sure to complete our work on time. We would set early deadlines among our groups so that we could have enough time to make any final changes. Overall, I was enjoying being in this team and also grateful at the same time.
Feedback
Miss Jinchi said that we should choose a final design among our group then only improvise it and present. Mr.Asrizal said that they are confused on which design to give marks on so for now they are not giving a mark yet.
