Reflection
Experience : Initially, I thought this class would be boring, however it turns out to be the most interesting course. I love to draw characters and read comics when I was young. Therefore this course suits me well as I could create my own characters and story. But of course it requires a lot of work and effort, however I still enjoyed it like a hobby. Miss Anis were very nice to us as well, she gave us enough time to create our work instead of rushing it out as she understands our work load from other course as well. Overall, it was a great experience, I'm satisfied with this course.
Observations : Illustration requires detail and lot of effort. In order to create a masterpiece, the detailing is very important. Mr.Faizal demonstrated several illustration which requires zoom in double checking. We have to make sure each line and colors were filled and connected perfectly. I respect people who are working in animation companies, it really requires huge effort and time to create a movie.
Findings : I found a lot of tools to use in Ai. I also learned to shuffle the layers in order to paint them nicely. The pen tool is easier to use in Ai than in Ps. I like to work in Ai as it is very friendly and easy to use. Most of my work were done in Ai, even work from other course requires Ai as well. This proves that Ai is universal to arts. I also learned to use my drawing tablet and control the brush, also changing the brush size and etc. It was fun creating works in Ai, I find it easier when I get used to it.
