I personally prefer comic style drawing so I went straight to research on this category.

My bedroom is my favorite spot in my house. I usually place my favorite things in my bedroom because it is my own private space. This is a very cooling spot as I always on the air conditioner, it is the best place to chill and relax. I can stay in my room and spend the rest of the day in my room, this is how my I love this place.

This picture was taken in a bubble tea shop. This is a spot I feel is comforting and attractive. The special thing about this spot is that it has a one color setting which creates a mood feel. Usually bubble tea shop should be more brightening design however this shop doesn't so I decided to take down.

I did some sketches based on the photos that I have taken. For the top left and right sketch I just draw the same thing by referring on the photos. However, Miss Jinchi mentioned in class that we should redesign it but not drawing exactly based on the photo. Therefore, I came out with another sketch on the bottom. I visualize my study room in completely different space. This is a place where I suffer, the reason being is I always do my work here until late night. So I wanted to draw out this particular space.

After getting feedback I drew another sketch based on the feedback suggestion given.

I chose pink for the background because it has more a cute comic feeling. However, the wall seems to be a bit empty so I added little white dots as a wallpaper design. I also change the color of the floor to another color so that it doesn't look like the floor and the wall are connected.

This is a place where I suffer. You can find blood, sweat and tears in this place. It's not so scary as it sounds it's actually my study room! The reason why I describe it that way is because I spend most of my time here all day long to finish my design work. All the exhausting, frustrating, tiring emotions has filled up this space. If you ask me if I liked this place, my answer is no. In fact, I dislike this place because when I'm in this place it simply mean that I am loaded with work. You would be wondering why I chose to draw a place that I don't fancy. The reason being is I want to remember down this moment of life so that I can remind myself how did I get this far, all the hard work and effort I put in is worth it. Other than photography, drawing can also be a way to keep memories.
Reflection
Week 9: I really hope Miss Jinchi would like my drawings therefore I really put effort in this design and I hope could get compliments from her!
Feedback
Week 9: Miss Jinchi said to not design first but to do more research and take more angles of photograph. Research is important before starting the work.
Week 10 : Miss Jinchi mentioned that my design was not balanced as the left side is too crowd whereas the right side has much space compared to the left. She suggest to make things lesser and smaller but emphasize on my facial expression.
